This instability increases the likelihood of joint injury, often leading to a degenerative process in which tissues break down and no longer function well. Chest Strengthening the chest muscles will help you push things easily and effortlessly. The muscles in your chest help stabilize your shoulder joint, which reduces your vulnerability shoulder joint injuries. Working your chest muscles also has an aesthetic factor (body contouring). Equipment Used Exercise Band The exercise band is used in resistance training. The bands comes in a variety of colours depending on the amount of tension they offer. The exercise bands give constant resistance throughout the entire range of motion during an exercise and cause less stress on the joints. Exercise Instructions Step 1 Start in a staggered position with the resistance band looped around your wrist and anchored to a pull-up bar. Step 2 Keep a soft bend in your elbow and slowly step away from the bar until your feel a gently stretch in your chest and shoulder. Step 3 Oscillate around the shoulder capsule spending a bit of extra time at any spots that feel a bit tighter.
