I've had a subscription to Sirius sattelite radio for the past 5 years or so and usually have it tuned in to the Howard Stern show on my way to and from the gym. The Stern show is one of the only channels on Sirius that has paid commercials and you hear some pretty funny ads for various products on there sometimes.
One of my favourite commercials is for a product called the Squatty Potty.
Now as you can imagine, the Squatty Potty is pretty well exactly what it sounds like. It's is a small stool (no pun intended!) that elevates your knees above your hips while you're sitting on the toilet which puts your body in a more anatomical correct squatting position so you have an easier time taking a poop!
Now I'm not sure how much thought you've given this in your lifetime (not too much I'm sure) but the makers of Squatty Potty claim that sitting on a standard toilet seat with your hips and knees at 90 degress pinches your colon and makes it a lot more difficult to pass bodily waste. With the Squatty Potty, your feet are elevated off the floor which puts your body in a more natural squatting position, straightening out your colon and making it much easier for you to poop.

*** UPDATE: I just received email confirmation that I will be getting my very own Squatty Potty. I will write a product review shortly after.
