Hugh Jackman Wolverine Workout

If you’ve seen any of the X-Men or Wolverine movies then you know that Hugh Jackman packs on a ton of muscle mass and gets absolutely shredded for his role as Wolverine. In fact, he seems to get bigger, stronger and leaner with each addition of the X-Men franchise.

So how does he do it?!?

 

Well according to an article in the LA Times, Jackman says it's a combination of old school strength training with lots of squats and deadlifts and a very strict diet.

 

“I do mostly old-school lifting with a lot of squats. I actually do more front squats than I do back squats, and I do a lot of deadlifting. If I could only do one exercise, it would be deadlifting.”

Here's a sample "Wolverine" workout:

Warm-up: general full body warm-up for 3-5 minutes (run, row, skip)

Conventional Deadlift: 5 sets of 5 reps (with 2-3 warm-up sets to start)

Front Squats: 5 sets of 5 reps (kettlebells, barbell or dumbbells)

Chin-ups: 5 sets of 5 strict reps

Weighted Sit-Ups: 25 reps (broken up how ever you need)

The above sample workout routine is made up of 4 basic strength exercises and 100 testosterone boosting repetitions that will target every single muscle fiber on your body. I say it in the video and I'll say it again.. I can't promise that you'll look like Hugh Jackman after you complete this workout but if you train hard enough, lift heavy and keep conistent over the years.. you'll definitley get there eventually!
