Pocket Hulk

My friend Candace aka "Pocket Hulk" competed in her second powerlifting competition on the weekend. I wrote about her 1st competition here. The event was called the BC Winter Classic and it was held at the Richmond Oval which is a beautiful sports facility that was built for and used during the 2010 Winter Olympics.



At every powerlifting meet you do 3 lifts.. the back squat, bench press and deadlift. You get 3 attempts at each. Candace managed to set personal records (PR's) in all 3 events. She has "unofficially" lifted a bit more in the gym but these are now her official numbers.

Back Squat: 198lbs
Bench Press: 115lbs
Deadlift: 210lbs

New Powerlifting Total = 523lbs
