The Truth About Bottled Water

May 18 2009

I just finished watching this hilarious movie from Penn and Teller about the bottled water industry.  The Truth About Bottled Water is a short documentary that reveals some of the ugly realities of an industry that has become a national obsession even though most people can't taste the difference between expensive bottled water and ordinary tap water.

Penn and Teller use humor, hidden cameras and real studies in this Showtime special to shine some light on an industry that has made billions of dollars off of something that we can practically get for free! What really makes bottled water that much better than tap water from a hose?  Nothing, it's just well strategized corporate marketing.
