If am trying to lose another 8 pounds and get toned, should i take regular whey protein or take EAS Lean 15 protein shakes? Any suggested recommended.

I'd suggest that you try to get all of your nutrients from real food sources- lean meats, vegetables, eggs, dairy, whole grains, nuts, seeds, fruit, etc.

If you are going to supplement your diet with a protein shake, I would suggest finding one that is low in carbs and sugar, and drinking it with 45minutes after you finish your training session.

And I looked up the nutritional info on both of those EAS products.. you'd actually be better off with the regular whey protein. It has a few more calories per serving but way more protein (26g compared to 15g) and fewer carbs (7g instead of 11g).

Hey Patty,

The brand of protein powder that I'm using right now is called INTRAPRO: Pure Whey Protein Isolate from Gaspari Nutrition.

It has 25g of protein and about 150 calories per scoop, it mixes really well with water and it tastes great! I also have a scoop of BCAA's (branch chain amino acids) with it but usually only have a shake post workout unless I have a super busy day and don't have time eat or prepare real food.

I also take a couple of fish oil capsules at night called Mighty Omega by Epic Nutrients and a tablespoon of seed oil every morning called EFA PLEX which is from the same company that makes Udo's oil.
