Exercise Instructions

Step 1

Start in a standing position with your feet about shoulder width apart. Hold the bar in both hands with a grip slightly wider than your shoulders.

Step 2

Pull the bar off of the floor with speed and acceleration. Make sure to keep your back flat and pull through your hips and knees.

Step 3

Catch the bar with a loose grip and high elbows. The higher your elbows are, the easier it will be to finish the lift properly.
