Barbells range in length from 4 feet (1.2 m) to 8 feet (2.4 m) and vary in diameter. Exercise Instructions Step 1 Start underneath the barbell holding on with a reverse grip just a bit wider than shoulder width. Step 2 Pull your body up to the bar finishing with the bar across the center of your chest. Step 3 Lower your body back down to the starting position with control and repeat.
