The v-sit dumbbell pass is an intermediate core exercise. This is a challenging exercise that targets the entire core and requires a fair amount of core strength in order to maintain proper positioning.

The dumbbell, a type of free weight, is a piece of equipment used in weight training. It can be used individually or in pairs (one for each hand). Dumbbells vary in weight from 3lbs. up to 150lbs.

Exercise Instructions


v-sit dumbbell pass - step 1

Step 1

Start in a seated v-sit position with your legs raised off of the floor, your back straight and your arms stretched out to your sides.

Step 2

While maintaining proper body position and good posture, pass the dumbbell from one hand to the other.

Step 3

Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions or until you can no longer maintain good form.
